Hi, everyone! My name is Kahina (Kah-he-nah) Jean-Baptiste and I’m a 24 year old, Haitian made/NJ based beauty blogger and esthetician with a passion for skincare. Skincare became my first love when I started going through puberty. I learned I suffer from Polycysitc Ovarian Syndrome which made my skin incredibly acne prone. From the time I was 12 years old to now, I’ve been in an entaglement with facial and body acne. Back in the early 2010s there wasn’t much information available about how to properly care for your skin. I was rubbing lemon juice and baking soda, toothpaste, and Proactiv all over my face trying to find a solution that worked. Through intense research from accredited professionals I finally started learning how to protect and care for my skin while developing a newfound love for skincare. Fast-forward 10 years later, the 12 year old with horrible acne became a licensed esthetician! As I fell in love with taking care of myself on the outside, I’ve started to spend more time focusing on the internal as well. Outside of skincare I’m an avid reader, spiritualist, and runner.
